There are a few people in my life, to whom I wish to give special thanks to.
These are my angel's who have stood by me when I've been down,
shared the agonies
I've gone through and were there to
encourage me too.
You all mean the world to me.

My wife Jackie,
who's been my rock, my listener, my encourager,
my carer, my reason for
living.
She has endured things I hope no-one else ever has to, but can still
laugh and cry with me,
as before.
I owe you everything.
My Parents
for being
there when I needed you,
even though in my pain and suffering
my thanks were not
always expressed properly.
You saw through this, and were there
when I needed
your help and guidance.

My
Sister-in-law, Sue,
(also
known as "Princess")
for your continual stream of words
of encouragement and
support.
Even though you are 6000 miles away,
you didn't let that get in the way of how much encouragement came my way.

My
Outlaws (!)
for diving in when things went bad for Jackie and I.
You
started a number of things for me which made it easier at a later date.
Equally
you also suffered my frustrations when things were bad
and helped me with reason
and tact (most of the time!!!!!!!!!).
Suzy,
Maggs,
Liz, Mel, Sharon, Beth, Tom,
and the nursing staff of Ward 8S, Charring Cross Hospital.
I've
never been hospitalised before, so this was all of a shock to my life.
You all
made it so easy for me to accept and adapt to, and became my friends
for the 12
weeks I was 120 miles away from home. I owe you all so much.
Laura,
Gillian, Patrick & Claire,
Physiotherapy Dept, Charring Cross Hospital.
For
getting me back on my feet - literally.
Sarah Nelson, Sarah
Jenkins, Katie Horsburgh,
Physiotherapy Dept, Poole Hospital.
For giving me the
strength to walk again,
and for sorting out the various aches and pains I've had
on the way.
